A solution from the mineral surface when the external face is inaccessible
In some basement and retaining wall applications it is not possible to reach the external face of the structure. KR-5300 is a crystalline waterproofing mortar positioned on a prepared mineral surface against positive and negative water pressure.

Application
How does the system work?
Steps are listed in application order. For consumption, layer thickness and waiting times, refer to the products' current technical data sheets (TDS).

Step 1: Expose the sound mineral surface
Completely remove paint, loose plaster and weak layers; reach the concrete or a suitable mineral surface.

Step 2: Complete the localised repairs
Remedy voids, segregation and any surface defects that would interrupt the application using a suitable repair method.

Step 3: Prepare the surface for application
Clean the surface and meet the surface preparation conditions in the current KR-5300 technical data sheet.

Step 4: Apply KR-5300
Use KR-5300 TECHNO KRAFT CRYSTALLINE WATERPROOFING MORTAR in accordance with the specified coats and application principles.

Step 5: Complete the curing and water check
Protect the system against premature drying and damage; follow the technical data sheet conditions for the transition to subsequent coverings or use.
