Cement-based and localised epoxy repair applications on concrete

Concrete Repair Systems

Concrete Repair and Localised Repair System

Shows standard cement-based repair and high-performance localised epoxy repair on concrete and mineral surfaces as two separate fixed systems.

System summary

  1. Damage and load-bearing check
  2. removal of loose concrete
  3. KR-110 or KR-EPT-305
  4. finishing and curing check.

The right repair technology for the type of damage

Not every concrete defect is repaired with the same product. KR-110 for superficial and standard mineral repairs, and KR-EPT-305 for applications requiring higher mechanical performance or special localised repair, are presented as separate system cards.

System advantages

  • Clear separation of cement-based and epoxy repair
  • Correct product guidance by damage and service load
  • Two fixed systems that prevent unnecessary product mixing

Application

How does the system work?

Steps are listed in application order. For consumption, layer thickness and waiting times, refer to the products' current technical data sheets (TDS).

  1. Step 1: Assess the damage

Determine whether the damage is superficial, localised high-performance or structural. If structural damage is suspected, obtain an engineer's assessment.

  2. Step 2: Reach sound concrete

Remove loose, weak and poorly bonded parts; make the repair area clean and suitable for application.

  3. Step 3: Select the repair technology

Use KR-110 for standard concrete/mineral repair and KR-EPT-305 for high-performance localised epoxy repair.

  4. Step 4: Complete the finishing and curing conditions

Apply the product to the required geometry and surface finish; follow the current technical data sheet for curing and the transition to subsequent work.

System options

This page has 2 fixed system options

Each option is a complete whole with its own products; products from different options are not combined in a single system.

KR-110 is shown on the standard concrete and mineral repair card; KR-EPT-305 on the high-performance localised epoxy repair card.

System 1

Cement-Based Concrete Repair

The system using KR-110 KRAFT REPAIR MORTAR for standard localised repair on concrete and mineral surfaces.

When to use it?

Used for superficial and standard mineral repairs, in suitable areas where epoxy performance is not required.

Fixed system order

  1. Damage check
  2. sound surface
  3. KR-110
  4. finishing and curing

System 2

Localised Epoxy Repair

The system using KR-EPT-305 KRAFT EPOXY REPAIR MORTAR for special localised repairs requiring higher performance.

When to use it?

Considered when high mechanical performance or epoxy-based localised repair is technically required.
