A white system that preserves the appearance of natural stone
In light-coloured, porous or partially translucent natural stones, the colour of the adhesive can affect the final appearance. For this reason, once the technical class has been determined, the appropriate white KraftBau adhesive is selected; a higher flexibility level is used for large and movement-prone applications.

Application
How does the system work?
Steps are listed in application order. For consumption, layer thickness and waiting times, refer to the products' current technical data sheets (TDS).

Step 1: Assess the stone and the substrate
Determine the stone's type, colour, format and moisture sensitivity. Make the substrate clean, flat, sound and load-bearing.

Step 2: Select the flexibility level
Use KR-808 for standard applications, KR-809 where flexibility is required and KR-8600 + KR-8100-1 for very large formats and high expected movement.

Step 3: Install with the white adhesive
Apply the adhesive using the method suited to the tile format; for large formats, ensure full contact behind the cladding.

Step 4: Complete with the suitable grout
Use KR-200 in dry areas, KR-250 in wet areas and KR-300 under technical or high chemical loads.

Recommended KraftBau products
KR-808 is used in the standard white system and KR-809 in the flexible S1 system. For very large formats or higher expected movement, KR-8600 is shown together with the KR-8100-1 component B. The grout product is selected according to the area of use.
