Plaster Application System on Bare Concrete

Shows two fixed systems on bare concrete surfaces: KR-100 machine plaster or KR-101 hand plaster over the KR-7000 bonding primer.

System summary

  1. Bare concrete cleaning and check
  2. KR-7000
  3. KR-100 machine plaster or KR-101 hand plaster
  4. surface finishing and curing.

A bonding bridge between low-absorption bare concrete and plaster

Applying plaster directly to smooth, low-absorption bare concrete surfaces can increase the risk of adhesion failure. KR-7000 prepares the surface for plastering; depending on the project method, KR-100 machine plaster or KR-101 hand plaster is used as a separate fixed system.

System advantages

  • KR-7000 bonding layer specific to bare concrete
  • Two separate product flows for machine and hand plaster
  • Simplifies product selection according to the application method

Application

How does the system work?

Steps are listed in application order. For consumption, layer thickness and waiting times, refer to the products' current technical data sheets (TDS).

  1. Step 1: Clean the bare concrete

Remove form oil, dust, loose layers and any residues that reduce adhesion; check the soundness of the surface.

  2. Step 2: Apply the KR-7000 bonding primer

Apply KR-7000 TECHNO KRAFT BARE CONCRETE PRIMER to the bare concrete surface to create a bonding bridge for the plaster.

  3. Step 3: Select the plastering method

Use KR-100 KRAFT PLASTER MAX for machine application and KR-101 KRAFT READY-MIX PLASTER FIBRE-REINFORCED for hand application.

  4. Step 4: Complete the surface finishing and curing

Apply the plaster at the project thickness; complete the screeding, surface finishing and curing according to the product's current technical information.

System options

This page has 2 fixed system options

Each option is a complete whole with its own products; products from different options are not combined in a single system.

System 1

Machine Plaster on Bare Concrete

The fixed system in which KR-100 KRAFT PLASTER MAX machine plaster is applied over the KR-7000 bonding primer on a bare concrete surface.

When to use it?

Used when the project will be carried out with fast, uniform machine plaster application.

Fixed system order

  1. Clean bare concrete
  2. KR-7000
  3. KR-100
  4. screeding and surface finishing
  5. curing

System 2

Hand Plaster on Bare Concrete

The fixed system in which KR-101 fibre-reinforced ready-mix plaster is applied over the KR-7000 bonding primer on a bare concrete surface.

When to use it?

Used when the plaster will be applied by hand and a cement-based ready-mix plaster is preferred.

Fixed system order

  1. Clean bare concrete
  2. KR-7000
  3. KR-101
  4. screeding and surface finishing
  5. curing
