Identify the suitable area and stone
The area must be a decorative surface not open to foot or vehicle traffic. The stones must be settled, stable and suitable for product application. This system is not used in areas where very heavy abrasion, structural bonding or continuous movement is expected.
Make the surface dry and clean
Dust, soil, oil, moss, loose parts and residues that could prevent bonding are removed. A wet or dirty stone surface can reduce application quality. After cleaning, the surface is allowed to reach the conditions required in the product technical data sheet.
Make a small test area
The colour, absorbency and surface texture of the stone can affect the final appearance. A test is made on a hidden or small section to assess the colour tone, sheen and binding result. Work does not proceed to a large area until the result is approved.
Apply the first and second coats uniformly
KR-DTB-100 is applied uniformly to the stone surface. After the first coat is complete, the second coat is applied according to the waiting and application conditions stated in the current technical data sheet. Localised build-up of excess product and missed areas are avoided. The equipment to be used and the consumption value are determined according to the product data sheet.
Do not use the area before curing is complete
After the application is complete, the area is protected from rain, dust, contact and early use. The time for controlled opening to use is checked in the current technical data sheet together with the ambient conditions. The stones must not be disturbed before curing is complete.
Maintenance and limits
Over time, the stone surface and the binding condition are checked visually. The application does not create a structural bond and is not used for vehicle traffic or continuous abrasion. If renewal is needed, surface cleaning and product compatibility are reassessed.
