A flexible membrane without seams
Polyurethane liquid waterproofing forms a seamless membrane on a suitably prepared surface. In this fixed system, the surface is primed with KR-PUA-105 and the main waterproofing layer is completed with KR-PUY-201.
System advantages
- Clear two-product system with primer and main membrane in sequence
- Liquid application that conforms to complex geometries
- Single-component polyurethane main waterproofing layer
Application
How does the system work?
Steps are listed in application order. For consumption, layer thickness and waiting times, refer to the products' current technical data sheets (TDS).
-
Step 1: Clean and check the surface
Remove grease, dust, loose parts and residues that reduce adhesion. Verify surface moisture and load-bearing capacity before application.
-
Step 2: Apply the KR-PUA-105 primer
Apply KR-PUA-105 TECHNO KRAFT PU PRIMER 1K to the prepared surface to create the bonding layer for the polyurethane membrane.
-
Step 3: Complete the details
Resolve corners, drains, cracks and transition areas in a manner compatible with the system before the main membrane.
-
Step 4: Form the KR-PUY-201 membrane
Create a seamless flexible waterproofing layer with KR-PUY-201 TECHNO KRAFT PU WATERPROOF 1K.
-
Step 5: Check curing and integrity
Before cladding or opening to use, check the continuity of the membrane and the curing conditions required by the product.
