Complete a standard tile installation from start to finish

A successful tile installation in dry indoor areas is not completed by adhesive selection alone. The load-bearing substrate must be checked, an adhesive suited to the application must be selected and the joints must be finished with the right product. This system presents the products required for a standard application in a clear sequence.

System advantages

  • Adhesive and grout product matched within a single system
  • C1T or C1TE performance alternative offered according to need
  • White adhesive option available for light-coloured tiles

Application

How does the system work?

Steps are listed in application order. For consumption, layer thickness and waiting times, refer to the products' current technical data sheets (TDS).

  1. Step 1: Check the surface

The surface must be clean, dry, sound, load-bearing and free of residues that reduce adhesion. Loose parts must be removed before application.

  2. Step 2: Select the adhesive

KR-801 is used for standard economical applications, KR-802 where a longer open time is required and KR-806 for light-coloured tiles.

  3. Step 3: Install the tiles

The adhesive is spread on the surface with a suitable notched trowel and the tiles are placed while maintaining the joints specified in the project.

  4. Step 4: Complete the joints

Once the adhesive has gained sufficient strength, dry indoor joints are completed with KR-200 FUGA KRAFT FLEX.
