Floor Preparation and Levelling System Before Covering
Shows the absorption-balancing primer and self-levelling screed as a fixed system before ceramic tile, natural stone, parquet or PVC.
System summary
- Mechanical cleaning and surface check
- KR-7600
- KR-6010
- selected final covering system.
A smooth final covering starts with a properly prepared floor
Level differences and surface defects in the covering usually stem from inadequate floor preparation rather than from the final product. KR-7600 regulates the surface's absorption and adhesion; KR-6010 creates a smooth, level surface for the next covering.
System advantages
- Primer and levelling product matched in a single system
- Self-levelling smooth surface
- Transition to different final covering systems
Application
How does the system work?
Steps are listed in application order. For consumption, layer thickness and waiting times, refer to the products' current technical data sheets (TDS).
-
Step 1: Prepare the floor mechanically
Remove dust, oil, loose layers and any residues that reduce adhesion. Assess cracks and load-bearing problems before application.
-
Step 2: Apply the KR-7600 primer
Apply KR-7600 TECHNO KRAFT ADHESION-PROMOTING ACRYLIC PRIMER to the surface to balance absorption and prepare it for the levelling layer.
-
Step 3: Level with KR-6010
Spread KR-6010 TECHNO KRAFT SELF LEVELING according to the thickness and application limits in the current technical data sheet.
-
Step 4: Move on to the final covering system
Once the levelling layer meets the required conditions, proceed to the relevant KraftBau system for ceramic tile, natural stone, parquet or PVC.
