Grout for dry indoor areas
In standard residential interiors and dry areas, KR-200 FUGA KRAFT FLEX is the main solution. The product's current technical data sheet is checked for joint width and suitable substrates. Joint channels must be clean and of uniform depth, and grouting must not begin before the adhesive has matured sufficiently.
Wet areas and outdoor environments
In areas with increased water exposure, such as bathrooms, showers and pool surrounds, KR-250 FUGA KRAFT POOL is used. On balconies, terraces or outdoors, the grout product alone cannot be relied on; the underlying waterproofing, falls, movement joints and covering system are resolved together.
Areas that require epoxy grout
KR-300 FUGA KRAFT EPOXY is the premium option for areas with technical and mechanical loads or high chemical exposure. The application, cleaning and working process of an epoxy system differ from cement-based grout. The applicator should follow the product technical data sheet and plan the work area accordingly.
Colour and sample check
Grout colour should be assessed together with the tile surface, light, joint width and cleaning conditions. On porous or sensitive coverings a small trial should be made, and the work should not proceed to a large area before the colour and cleanability result has been seen.
Grout is not a movement joint
Wall-floor junctions, structural joints and the project's movement joints must not be closed with rigid grout. These points should be handled with the relevant flexible detail solution.
